I started Hankook Plumbing in 2011. Since then I've spent most of my days under sinks, behind walls, and in roof cavities across Melbourne's eastern and south-eastern suburbs.
My wife, Yuna, is Korean. "Hankook" means "Korea" in her language, and she named the business. If you're more comfortable booking in Korean, just say hi; she picks up when I'm on the tools.
But me? I'm a local. Born here, trained here, and I'll speak plain English about your hot water system without any trade-jargon mystery or "mate, it's bad news" stories.

Yes, it's me. Phillip Smith. I'm a one-man operation, so the person you speak to on the phone is the person under your sink an hour later. No sub-contractors.
03 How do I get a quote?

04 Are you licensed and insured?
Fully licensed with the Victorian Building Authority (License #24476) and carrying public liability insurance. Happy to send copies before I start a job.

Yes. All workmanship is guaranteed. Manufacturer warranties on any products I install. If something isn't right, I come back and fix it at no charge.
08 My wife or husband speaks Korean, can they call?
Absolutely. My wife Yuna is Korean and handles enquiries in Korean when I'm on the tools. Just mention you'd like to speak in Korean when you call.
